Ahoj..!

Lately I started to feel - let say - a bit weird...
Feeling that was not so comfortable as now is the time to say good bye to people that we loved!

I still remember when I said 'ahoj' for the first time to people when I just arrived in Czech Republic 10 months ago! And now MC members are started to leave one by one.. Tomorrow Misha and Peta will be leaving to Rotterdam to continue on AIESEC International. Next week, Annicka will be going back to Colombia. On June, Hanca will be leaving to Tunisia for internship, Verca to Denmark for summer school, and Dadus is still deciding on some opportunities. I am really happy for everyone for our next career path.., but honestly it's quite 'interesting' to be gone through. Yet I am glad that Michal will be having internship in Indonesia - and we could continue our next step there! ;)

Last Wednesday was MC bye bye at Letna - members and alumni came to have drinks together! Well, looking forward to our reunion in Bali in around 2-3 years! ;D

Starting the year 2011 with positive attitude!

Happy new year 2011!

New year.. new spirit.. new life.. and have committed to continuously update my blog again ;D

Reflecting my year in 2010, many things have been happening.. Here are top 3 interesting facts :))
  1. Have been traveling to 7 new countries : Taiwan, India, Czech Republic, Hungary, Germany, Poland, and Slovakia..
  2. Living my 1st international working experience in the Czech Republic!
  3. Having my 1st snow experience in Prague :))
Until almost 4 months have been staying in the Czech Republic.., here are some interesting facts I found :))
  1. Majority of the people and system are very structured
  2. Transportation schedule is really precise
  3. Beer is cheap and everywhere - just like mineral water in Indonesia
  4. We could drink water directly from faucet
  5. People like to snot loudly ;D
  6. CR, esp Prague is wonderful - full of history and castle (building in Prague is protected under UNESCO)
  7. Not so many people speaking English
  8. Czech food usually served in big portion - pork is ever ywhere :P
  9. People are pretty cold..
  10. Many flavor options for mineral water and mostly with soda
Finally NYE has come! I had wonderful celebration in Prague with MC member and my friends from Indonesia, Vinzhe and Riska! Staroměstské náměstí aka Oldtown square was extremely beautiful with its' new year decoration and Xmas market. So many beautiful lights and huge Xmas tree.
When the countdown of new year happened, we went to Charles bridge to see huge fireworks launched amazingly and celebrated it with thousands people around the world!

I am so grateful with all opportunities that I have got throughout the year 2010.. This year should be better than last year.., soo let's start this beginning of the year with positive attitude! ;))

Technology makes our life easier!

Lately I am so in love with skype!

On these past 4 days I was connected with this tool to join MC planning virtually. Also from the skype video transitions, although I am still in Indonesia, but I can see the office in the Czech Republic, which make me feel closer and even there already! :))

Very glad that we have gone through the MC planning on last weekend. Although we had quite tough discussion.., but it even make us closer and know more each other! And at the end, after we agreed, we feel really relieved.. Yet lots of things still remain to be finished! :))

Very nice to see my Simply team picture :))
Can't wait to be there real soon to meet everyone, finish the plan, and start to work!

There always be time to say See You Again and Nice to Meet You!

Life is like a wheel..
Sometimes up and sometimes down..
Babies are born and other people are passed away..
People come and people go..
There is time to say nice to meet you and time to say see you again!

This month will be full of saying see you again, as Masaru and Cath will be back to Japan and China, Dessy and Jenni will be leaving for Thailand and Rotterdam, and I need to also prepare myself to say see you again to my family and friends for Czech Republic for 1 year!

We had perfect farewell party attended by "old AIESECers" ;D .. Tatsky, Ramsky, Suryo, and Adi .. dinner at Sabang street and ended by having karaoke at Grand Indonesia. What an awesome sort of reunion!

With my beloved macchiato, we had pajamas party at Four Seasons hotel! Thanks much to Redha for the voucher to stay at VIP room! We had awesome time chatting randomly, playing games, and swimming in the morning! ;))

After 4 months waiting for visa for the Czech Republic.., finally I managed to meet all my Simply MC team before AIESEC International Congress 2010 in India! This is the time to say nice to meet you! So excited to finally see them all in person.. And thanks for the birthday gift - so useful and love it! ;))

The picture above was the first time I met them all at the airport in Delhi, India..
We'll see how is my journey in the Czech Republic!
:))
